VOLUNTEER
A strong school starts with engaged families.
Parent and family volunteers are the heart of our school. You bring energy, creativity, and support that enriches every student’s experience.
Whether you’re helping in the classroom, planning events, or lending a hand behind the scenes, your time and talents make a big difference.
Join us in creating a vibrant, connected school community where every child can thrive.
GVCS FOUNDATION
The Grass Valley Charter School Foundation Board is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and staff who work together to support our school through fundraising and community-building efforts. From organizing events to funding classroom needs and fieldwork, the board plays a vital role in helping our students thrive.
You don’t need any special experience—just a willingness to contribute your time, ideas, or skills. Whether you’re great with planning, numbers, creativity, or teamwork, there’s a place for you.
Board meetings are held once a month, and new members are always welcome. It’s a great way to get involved, stay connected, and make a lasting impact on the GVCS community.
CREW 24
Crew24 is the heart of parent volunteerism at Grass Valley Charter School. This dedicated group of caregivers helps plan school events, coordinate classroom support, and show appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff.
Whether you have an hour a month or time to take the lead on a project, there’s a role for everyone. From organizing staff lunches to helping with the annual Walk-a-Thon and Coyote Jamboree, Crew24 is a fun and rewarding way to be part of the school community.
Meetings are held once a month, usually in the morning after drop-off. It’s casual, welcoming, and a great way to stay connected and make a difference.
